It could be a yeast infection. I had one under my breasts and my dr recommended lotrimin anti fungal cream. It took a couple weeks but it eventually went away as long as I used the cream and tried to keep the area dry.

I actually had a bad rash for quite awhile. Sweat, heat, friction/chaffing, breast milk, it happens! I actually had to bandage it and use antibiotic ointment.

I agree with others that it's probably just a rash and not thrush. Try hydrocortisone.

When I sleep in a bra this happens. I used anti fungal foot cream (Lotrimin) and it always feels better in a couple of days.

For me that's always been a dampness issue. Do you have triple paste or some other diaper cream? That can help. Or a little cornstarch.

I developed a rash there this past week. It's super itchy. I think it's due to my breast pads flipping over in my sleep bra, which I was still wearing mid-morning, and wetting the band of my bra. Then, because I was taking care of LO, who was being fussy, it kind up sat wet for a few hours. I've been going topless at home in the evenings (DH and DS are were thrilled), and it's helped.

I get terrible heat rash and eczema there while I'm pregnant. I would use a little gold bond powder to keep it dry

I broke out wth a heat rash immediately after having my twins 17 months ago and still get it every once in a while all these months later. I think it's related to my hormones from nursing too. It gets worse for me when it was hot and humid this summer. Also, if my kids aren't feeling well and are nursing a ton, it flares up a little. The best thing for me is to make sure to dry under my boobs really well after a shower, then use baby powder (as long as I'm not going to be nursing for a little while).

My thrush was on my nipples only, and LO's tongue. I would think it's a heat rash?

I have had a minor rash under both breasts for a week or so. This morning it was more inflamed, red and itchy. I'm breastfeeding my 7.5 month daughter. Could it be thrush? Or just too much sweat? I only wear cotton built in bra tanks. I'm out of town until Monday. Thoughts?
