I got drapes in euro pleads. That's what the lady told me they were, shrugging shoulders. </p> <p>Shop around for plantation shutters, we have over 30 windows in our home and found a family owned business that made the shutters locally for about 5k. During the day they are always rolled all the way up. Our windows are very tall, so it would have cost a fortune to buy curtains. Another inexpensive alternative to blinds are those roller shades. You can do those under drapes and roll them up (out of sight) during the day, and pull down at night.
