Yeah those IKEA organizers don't fit perfectly in drawers. I use them for non drawer storage. Like on top of a dresser to hold stuff.

If you don't want gaps, Google drawer dividers. I use them for my lingerie drawer

@stiletto_mom: I think it looks pretty good! I'd shove stuff in the gaps you don't use often.
And just think. LO might not be in NB long. You'll probably have to reorganize anyway and at some point you'll get to a time where LO will be in a size for more than a nanosecond and you'll not have to split the drawer since you'll have more clothes in that size. But it looks pretty good! Trust me, when you see mine you'll feel pretty darn good ;). I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow.

Socks, tights, etc. Is what we did. Before you know it her clothes will be huge and you'll be kicking drawer organizers around that serve as dolly beds until the next baby arrives :silly:

Here's a pic. As you can see, I've just shoved socks and hats in the gap. Ugh. So awkward.

Left side is newborn, right side is 0-3m.

I have the same organizers and they give me gaps as well. In the small drawers I just move them so the gap is all on one side or the back of the drawer and use that small space to hold other things (ie: bibs and hats).

In the larger drawers I have a bigger gap that I left at the front and I roll up sleepers and store them there in a line. Love the organizers though! :)

Can you take a pic? I have the ikea organizers as well and they don't fit. I found that for her clothing I use them to group the smaller things (top drawer the bins corral socks, hats and swim suits each in their own insert while her sleep sacks and bibs float freely (I tend to grab them the most anyway)).
Next drawer corrals short sleeve tees and tank tops while pants get folded to the right and diaper covers/bloomers fill a tiny weird gap.

So I bought some drawer organizer inserts from Ikea for the drawers on change table/dresser. However, there are weird 1-2 inch gaps no matter how I configure the different sized organizers.

Any solutions? Do I just drop other things into the awkward gaps?
