@NovBaby1112: ours really only lasted 2-3 nights for nighttime sleep. Now naps lasted a good 7-9 nights i'd say. I just loaded up on coffee and road it out! It wasn't nearly as bad as the 4m, where they'd just be up SCREAMING for no reason. He was up and wanted to play or read and would only cry if I walked away. I guess I could have just dozed off on the recliner and let him play with blocks or something but I never did.

@hilsy85: I can try that and see how she does. I don't mind rocking her to sleep- it's just that it's taking SO long for her to fall asleep. I've tried letting her CIO with checks, but that just prolonged it. I just wish she wasn't waking up at 5:30/5:45 after such a short night! Hopefully this doesn't last long- and I'll keep my fingers crossed L skips this one! :silly:

eeeeek this is scary! We have also hit every sleep regression ever known, but haven't dealt with this--yet!

I have heard from some friends that they started sitting with their LOs in their rooms around this age til they fell asleep...maybe you can work up to that, and then move to outside the room?

I thought we might escape this one since we hit every sleep regression known to man, but of course I wasn't so lucky :silly:

What was the 18 month regression like for your LO? How long did it last?

DD has been fighting going to bed at night- sometimes taking up to an hour to fall asleep and wants us to rock her. So we have been, but she fights it until 8/8:30pm and then has been waking up around 5:30am- not even crying, just waking up "talking" and ready to start the day. I know she's not getting enough sleep because she is a cranky pants during the day, but I'm not sure what to do. It's been going on 4 days now...
