But, alas, we love WHERE we live so much. </p> <p>But school districts are definitely a tipping point!!! Found our ideal house but the neighborhood was inconvenient. Found a great house in an ideal neighborhood. Both great schools, so that wasn't a factor. Our house is cute, but just not super functional for our growing family, but we really like our neighborhood. We walk Liam to preschool, we walk to Trader Joe's, there's a new park going in a few blocks away, our neighbors are great... I am constantly looking at houses for sale online and every time I think I love something, it's not good enough to leave our current neighborhood. Sometimes we'd go on driving dates - kids asleep in the back while we drive around a new neighborhood with coffees and quietly whisper about the houses we liked. :happy: </p> <p>The money isn't really the issue here as we intend to live within ours means and would buy accordingly. I know the frighteningly large amounts of money that my parents spent to send me and my sister to private school because the middle school and high school we were districted for were not good. But I don't like my house that much, while the square footage is sufficient and the yard is great, the layout isn't ideal. We keep going back and forth between doing a little more reno to make the house work better for us or save the money and look for a better house in a few years. And if we were to move, it would be to a better school distinct so it wouldn't be in the same neighborhood. </p> <p>What would you do? </p>
