LO went to a funeral when she was about 2 months and I wore dark colors but put her in one of her sweetest outfits which was colorful (but not loud). I think children bring a lot of needed lightness to that situation and no one expects them to be in "mourning attire." When I dressed LO my mom pointed out to me that the baby isn't in mourning and even those very close to the deceased are happy to see baby as a symbol of life continuing. </p>
