A dress up box sounds like a wonderful idea. One of my friends growing up had one and I loved going to her house for that reason. I think you will get a lot of use out of it. Check out consignment stores. He puts in some kind of costume everyday and even takes pick out his regular outfits very seriously. </p> <p>He has a firefighter, pirate, construction worker, a set of 4 superhero capes and masks, a Daniel tiger costume that I made for last Halloween, and a sparkly red tutu. When we go to our friends house he loves to put on their princess dresses. My four year old and her friends are still into dressing up. Hats and helmets seem especially popular. I'm thinking of acquiring outfits over the next few months for a dress-up chest for Christmas.</p> <p>How old was your LO when they began playing with dress-up clothes regularly? How long did the phase last?</p> <p>Also, if anyone can suggest themes that are particularly popular with boys, that would be greatly appreciated. :happy: </p>
