I wore dresses all the time last summer...particularly maxis or faux wrap dresses with cross-over v-necks. But I also bought some thin cotton dresses from ON with a low enough neckline that I could just pull them down.

Most of my dresses pre baby were not suitable for nursing/pumping so I could never wear them - I did buy new ones that would cross in the front so I would have easy access to pump/nurse

The only dresses I have that work for nursing are button down - and even then, its pretty inconvenient. Skirts and tanks are the way to go for now.

I got a v-neck dress that was cut the right way so I could move the fabric to the side/down and nurse. It took a lot of trying dresses on and moving things around to find a dress that worked. I also found that dresses that button down are good, but you have to try them on to see if it's comfortable.

There are some nursing dresses out here although I never got one. I would go skirts with tops or strapless/tube style.

Strapless dresses (old navy) were my breastfeeding go to. Just pop it down and put baby on top. I have big boobs and didn't wear a bra.

I'm planning on skirts and tanks. Even though I could access my boobs in some sundresses, the nursing bra straps would be impossible to cover.

I am 5.5 weeks postpartum. It's getting too hot for jeans. I usually live in sundresses an sandals in the summer. But I don't see that working with nursing. Am I stuck switching to skirts and tanks, or is there a solution that will still let me wear my dresses? Please tell me I am missing something!
