Good tips ladies! Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't want to see the disposable diapers exposed! :p

This was a big hassle for me last summer. I don't like to see little girls in dresses without a diaper cover, personally, but a lot of the stuff I bought didn't come with them. I started looking for dresses that came with solid color covers that could go with multiple things. I bought a few in browns and tans that went with a lot of stuff. Now that a new warm season is coming I'm gearing up to start searching for them again.

You can always order one or two neutral diaper covers (etsy always has tons) for the ones that don't come with any. Also, save the larger ones, when she is potty trained and not in a diaper anymore they will fit again and you won't have a 3 year old flashing everyone at the playground :-)

We always used the covers. LO doesn't wear tights with dresses (it's warm here). I'm sad that now that we are in Toddler sizes they don't have the bloomers. I've been shopping for little bike shorts for her to wear with dresses this summer. A visible disposable diaper isn't cute to me.

LO rarely wears the covers that come with the dresses because they're usually too big... Even with our cloth. But she very, very, very rarely wears a dress and just her diaper. I dont like her diaper showing... it's like she's not wearing panties. I have several other covers that will work with lots of dresses.

Yes to tights under the diaper cover. And I do buy them with and without the cover. If it doesnt have one, she still just wears tights or a onesie if its too warm for them. We live in England, so most weather is tights weather for us.

Most dresses from newborn to 2T come with matching diaper covers. If I come across a dress that doesn't have one, I usually have another dress that comes with a neutral colored cover that could work with it. If she's wearing tights, I'll put the cover over the tights.

We CD and if the matching cover fits, we put it on... Otherwise, it's just the dress and a cute diaper.

From top to bottom: dress, cover (if applicable), tights, diaper.

I rarely use the covers because we mostly use cloth diapers! I think most of the dresses I buy have covers except for some dresses from H&M.

We usually use disposable diapers when LO wears tights and I put the diaper cover over her tights.

We rarely wear the diaper cover.

1. I don't really like them
2. They never fit P right.

I usually try and just wear a matching dipe (CD) or put tights on her.

Hi Mommas of Girls!

Do you always use the matching diaper covers for little girl dresses? Do all your dresses come with diaper covers? What if you CD? I've noticed almost ALL of the dresses we've got/bought have matching diaper covers, which I think are SO cute! But then if I see a dress sold w/out one, I tend to not want it now, because it seems incomplete.

What if you wear the dress with tights? Do you put the tights on under the diaper cover? lol?

* Just random "style" questions on my mind late tonight...
