Today she wore a fancy dress that had a small crinoline underneath, and DH was concerned about getting the straps tight enough and wrinkles. We just made it work. I do like leggings under dresses though for more durability. Usually a one piece footie with snaps. For short trips I put on leggings. If I had a girl, I'd put her in her seat with a white onesie and then slip the dress on in the car once I arrived at my destination. Inconvenient? Maybe. But these are our kids and I pretty much do anything or cuteness and spoiling them! LO takes his shoes off in his carseat, so I leave them in my purse and when we get to where we need to be, I take him out, put him in the stroller and then out his shoes on. She has a TON of dresses we never really get around to wearing partly because we have to go everywhere in a car. Then I feel like the dresses get all scrunched up and wrinkled and she looks funny strapped into the car seat. The alternative I've been doing is putting on leggings under the dress when she is in the car seat. </p> <p>I want to put her in the cute J&amp;J dress today, but thinking of changing her in the car when we get there. lol! Silly, I know...</p> <p>What do you do about dresses and car-seats? </p>
