We did some photos outside in late November and I just put her in a really cute peacoat and white pompom hat for those.

Oh and bring boogie wipes in case the cold makes her, or your, nose run.

I can tell you what NOT to do, which is forget how cold it's really going to be and plan a cute little outfit but not a warm coat and hat, then be scrambling and have a cold cranky baby in all your photos. Not like that's what I did last year or anything.

Depending where you are doing it, maybe you could keep your car warm to warm up in between locations? And definitely have a really cute coat and hat planned. Maybe it will be warm enough that you don't need the hat, but have one just in case. Will you have some pictures inside too?

I have no advice, but thank you for posting - you've reminded me about taking pictures for this year's Xmas card.

We're having a family photo shoot done at the beginning of December. Not ideal, but this is the only time we could schedule it. DD2 will be 2.5 months old, and based on the way the weather has been lately, I'm anticipating that it will be pretty chilly. The session is scheduled to last an hour. Any advice on how to dress her so she'll be cute but warm? Any outfit suggestions are welcome.
