Yes! My 3 year old (she'll be 4 in April) the other day, wore a green plaid shirt dress, tucked *into* a red and black skirt, over patterned leggings. It was nuts, and she absolutely loved it!

Yup, I don't care unless it is a special occasion or picture day.

I choose my battles and unless it's a special occasion, I let her wear whatever combo she likes.

Oh yes. She insists on soft pants every day (I don't blame her, I would wear leggings every day if I could too) and the combinations she comes up with are hilarious sometimes.

@deerylou: H told me this morning that she did not want a ponytail but instead wanted to wear a pink hair bow and a purple hairbow.

I'm all for it. I just make sure she makes choices that fit the weather. I'm also a stickler for comfortable shoes, should we be heading to the park or on a long walk. Lately, it's less about clothes and more that she wants 85,000 clips in her hair, at one time. Yesterday, we had the entire cast of My little Pony on her head. She looked like a Christmas tree.

I love it when she puts weird combos together. I mean, how often in your life do you get to wear things that don't even kind of look good together and people still think you're cute?

I don't care whether DD's clothes coordinate as long as they're clean and weather-appropriate. Today, she's wearing gray fleece pants, a red dress with white polka dots that's technically two sizes too small but still mostly fits (the sleeves are 3/4 length though, haha) and pink-and-silver sparkly shoes. But we didn't have a clothing battle this morning, and she's just going to get dirty at daycare anyway, so I'm not about to make an issue of it.

Oh, it's a free for all with our 3.5 year old! I used to give him pre-approved choices to try and have some semblance of coordinating, but I gave that up months ago. It drives me bonkers when he pairs brown with black, though! I love days when he lets me choose his clothes.

If we go out in public, I try to make sure my son is wearing clothes that somewhat match, are mostly clean and are weather appropriate, but at home I don't care. His new thing is wearing pajama pants and no shirt

Today's outfit for my 3 1/2 year old consist of: navy blue leggings that have arrows on them, a pink and white polka dot skirt, a white shirt, a yellow scarf, and to top it off sparkly silver boots. She was SOOO proud of her outfit that I just let it go, but oh boy did she looks amazing ;) I have decided I have to let the little thing goes and as long as she's dressed appropriately for the weather she can wear what she wants! Anyone else have the "go for it" mindset?
