I also have a few versions and if you put the wrong straw insert in, it'll definitely leak. They look the same but are slightly different sizes. Might not be your issue, just throwing it out there! We only have issues with leaking when I accidentally do not screw it on properly. They are very well insulated and will keep things hot or cold and don't leak at all! both my 3 yr old and 18 month old have their own.
