It used to be you should have a full bladder, but more and more offices are now using equipment where an empty bladder is best.</p> <p>My advice, go in with a full bladder and if you don't need it, you can take care of that easy enough. I definitely had a full bladder when I went in there!! I didn't take it seriously because I heard once the baby's bigger it's no big deal. But then she said that she was having trouble seeing everything because I didn't drink enough water. The tech said that they found having a full bladder doesn't increase baby movement or their ability to see the necessary things since today's equipment is so high tech. She said they have encountered several "accidents" when women had a full bladder because depending upon how the baby is laying they may need to push a little to get a good view.</p> <p>I had gone before both ultrasounds as directed but when they did my 7w my bladder was already filling back up.
