Being cold and or wet can't actually cause a cold. You have to be exposed to the germs. But it certainly will make your LO more uncomfortable so stay on the day care teachers about keeping her in dry clothes.

LO is just getting over her first cold post-daycare. LO was a huge drooler as a baby and I would always have to change her clothes. I suppose it's possible for a cold chest to aggravate a cold but not cause it. Did the daycare change her clothes after you asked them to?

I'm really irritated about this so I just wan some other opinions, My baby has a cold again. This the 2nd time since she started daycare about 6 weeks ago. Lately she drools a lot so I put a bib on her but they dont always change her bib, they leave her in the bib and it soaks through her dress and her onesie underneath so by the time I go to get her her entire chest area is soaking wet.
I did ask them to change her if her clothes get wet. I even went out and bought the plastic back bibs but they still soak through after a while. Am I crazy in thinking that leaving her in the wet bib and onesie is causing or aggravating her congestion and cold. what did you do when your baby was drooling a lot?
