LO coughs on her drool all the time but I don't worry too much... She won't actually choke in saliva.

M is a drool monster all the time, but particularly when teething. She has definitely had times where she will cough and sputter from the drool, but as long as she's coughing I've never really worried about it. I don't have any wisdom on how long it lasts because ours is relentless! I'm sick of covering up cute outfits with ugly bibs :( I hope Sadie pops that tooth soon! Teething is no fun.

I'm pretty sure Sadie is teething. I see some little bumps on her bottom gums & she has been a drool monster the past couple of days. It's basically been pouring out all day long. Earlier today she was lying flat while I was changing her diaper, she was drooling A LOT, and she actually started choking. I had to sit her up & pat her back until she could get a breath. This makes me so nervous! I'm so afraid she'll choke in her sleep. Is this normal? Anyone else have a baby who choked on his/her saliva/drool? How long does the drooliness last? Does it go away when the teeth break through? ACK!
