@travellingbee: will your LO still need milk from a sippy cup?

@ShootingStar: babies feeding themselves in the morning is the best! Good plan. Keeping it in my back pocket.

With DS I started dropping bottles from the end of the day and worked up to the am bottle. That one was hardest for me because I had to actually take the time to feed him breakfast instead of letting him feed himself a bottle while I got ready.

With the first bottle to go we moved it from feeding to sleep to feeding before bath. Then we started doing solids for dinner consistently and dropped the bottle.

Then I tackled his daycare bottles by replacing them with snacks (we were already doing solids for lunch). I did one at a time about a week apart.

Then when I was finally ready I stopped giving him a morning bottle and we did a banana instead.

My LO is 10 months tomorrow. He is still having 5 6oz bottles a day plus 3 solid meals. He eats a lot, but still wants those bottles too. When do I start dropping feeds and how? I feel like with my first he naturally just stopped needing them as he ate more but this one seems to want both...
