I certainly found support online to be essential. I found a therapist that specializes in fertility and she was instrumental in helping me get through some of my darkest days. Also check out Resolve.org, they offer many support groups nation wide. I found our journey to be pretty isolating since I didn't have any friends going through it and there is only so much support my mom could offer! His numbers were so bad (with a varicocele) that we actually started with IVF. </p> <p>Something I've heard with mini IVF is that the lab needs to be excellent and use vitrification because you're working with so few precious embryos. The clinics I know of that do it are Cooper, Cornell, LIFE (in LA), and New Hope (which is super expensive), but there are others for sure. The way they described it to me, there were very minimal stims. I figure that with my age, and the cost of it, and the fact that we have male issues, that maybe this could be an option.
