Take full doses of a real decongestant for a couple days. You can also pump a little or hand express to make yourself more comfortable.

Earth Mama makes "No More Milk" tea (it's listed on the side of the box of my "Make More Milk!" tea). Cabbage leaves are the classic home remedy as well.

I took sudafed a couple days alinh with ibuprofen and packs. It was actually easier once I went back to work because I didn't have a baby kicking at them and making them hurt more!

@Mrs. Oatmeal: I'm glad! We were down to nursing in the morning and at night when we weaned. It was too bad.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: I can't remember. It was back in May when we weaned. I think I just took benadryl a couple of nights. Nothing too big.

@singingbee: I read about the decongestant thing! Just once a day - or how often?

I took a decongestant and when I was in the shower I would express just a little so it totally hurt. I was dried up in a week.

I finally decided (well, LO decided for me) that it was time to drop the last two nursing sessions of the day, and wean completely.
Its been about 36 hours since I've last nursed, and my boobs hurt. They just feel bruised - not crazy engorged or anything, but enough that I'd like to do something about it. They just keep filling...its almost comical.

I was hoping you guys would have some tips for drying up my supply a little quicker! I don't want to be a swollen leaky mess when I go back to work on Monday. Thoughts?
