We kept her rear facing, although we did buy her a new seat and things have improved since. She's 19 months now. We play Pandora toddler radio and have to skip the slow songs. It's not fullproof though. The only thing that helped us get through it was playing her favorite music channel on YouTube to calm her down. She's 18 months old and it's much, MUCH better. He will scream and become hysterical quickly. I've used lots of distraction (toys, food, singing, etc) and it helps some but he still hates it. </p> <p>For those with kids who hated their carseat, did turning to FFing help? We will try to keep him RFing until 2 (per recommendations) but I'm wondering if there is an end in sight of his car screaming. </p>
