He got several other vaccines at the same time and has not had any adverse reactions. While PP can be correct regarding adverse reactions, not every baby has an adverse reaction or an incomplete immunity after a vaccine. And in those studies, combination vaccines act like multiples. Also, my SIL got a severe case of whooping cough AFTER she was vaccinated, and a few months BEFORE an outbreak - a vaccine is not a guarantee your child is protected from an illness. I wouldn't be too concerned. But when I took her for her shots today she was given Pnuemoccocal, Polio and Rota virus and the dr said she would get the dtap next month. If its such a big deal with this outbreak why wouldnt she get the Dtap first? </p>
