I like Charlotte Lorraine. This isn't helpful, is it?

I like Adare and voted for it...BUT now that I think about it, a boy might not care for being named after your honeymoon spot. (Like..ewww...my parents DID IT there!) A girl might think it's more romantic? I don't know!

My daughter's name is Charlotte, but I voted Willow... although I will be honest and say that I'm not a fan of Lorraine with it.

I like Willow Lorraine. I also like Adare. I it could work for a boy or girl.

What about Willow Charlotte? She'd still be named after members from both of your families, and it's very feminine (despite being after two men) and cute. Come to think of it, I'd name my own daughter that if I could get away with it! (My Will and Charlie are both on my side.)

If you plan on naming a girl after William, then you have a little more leverage for Adare for a boy.

@Coco Bee: Ooh I like Willow Shane. It has the same flavor as Willow Jane only a little more edgy.

@summerbaby75: ps you should change the poll so people can vote multiple choices, i.e. a boys and a girls name.

I love Willow but not a fan of Lorraine. But I did vote for Willow because I like that first name best. I agree that Adare sounds a bit more feminine and would love to see it with Willow! Actually, Shane is becoming very gender-neutral as well, so Willow Shane would be super cute.
I do like the name Charlotte too, but like you said it is getting more popular. I know quite a few Charlotte's born within the last year.

As for a boy - I do love the name Shane. Not sure about middle name... I think Adare is my favorite but i do think it sounds more feminine. But as a boy's middle name it could work.

I actually think Adare is more feminine. So my vote is Shane William. And I think Willow Adare is beautiful. I agree Charlotte is just too popular these days and I like Willow but not Lorraine.

I like Willow, but not as psyched about Lorraine with it... but to get the similar sound I really like Willow Jane.

Adare is obviously amazing, but Shane Adare does sound like he'll be obligated to have an Irish accent :) but I do love the honeymoon symbolism. We tried to find a name from Glacier national park for Lala's middle name since that's where we honeymooned, but we came up short.

I am due in 2 weeks and we do not know the sex of our baby! I have been crazy about baby names since I was a child...always changing my mind! I need help! Our first choice is...
Charlotte Joan, but now I am debating Charlotte because it is becoming too popular.
Our second choice is Willow Lorraine.
If it is a boy we are definitely naming him Shane but we are debating the middle name, he wants William and I want Adare(named after a lovely town in Ireland that we spent our honeymoon in, not even a year ago).
Also, all other names are honoring a family member(Charlotte-my grandfather Charles, Joan my mother, his grandmother, Lorraine-my grandmother, Willow & William-his grandfather)
I need your thoughts on:
Charlotte Joan or Willow Lorraine
Shane Adare
Shane William
Thanks
