@spaniellove: Glad to hear that there was a good reason for the elevated levels!

Now I know why the E2 level was slightly high...there's a second smaller follicle!

@mrswin: That would make sense. My RE mentioned me having endo but not bothering to treat it if it's not bothering me, and my AMH is abysmal - I think the next increment down is undetectable.

@spaniellove: I actually had this discussion with my ND. My last medicated cycle I had one huge follicle and my E2 was significantly above the normal range (almost 2x higher I think). She said that with endo E2 levels tend to run higher and eggs which are poor quality (b/c of poor AMH) tend to suck up more E2 to develop and that may be causing me to have large but poor quality follicles.

Through diet and supplements she is trying to reduce this. This is only my experience with it so I am not sure in your case.

I've always gone by the rule of thumb that E2 (estradiol) should be 150-200 per mature follicle, but has anyone ever found that their E2 is higher when their follicles are mature?

When the nurse called today she sounded a little confused because my E2 was at 211 so going by that I should be ready to O but my follicle was 14.7 and it didn't seem like I was there yet. Looking back at my IUI and IVF cycles, my E2 was more like 500 per mature follicle which would make more sense with the timing. Does this happen to anyone else?
