<description>&#60;p&#62;@travellingbee:  not much advice, but my daughter got tubes at 11 months and it made a WORLD of difference immediately.  Have you tried inclining one side of his crib so he's not sleeping flat?  May help take some of the pressure off.

<description>&#60;p&#62;So my LO is 8 months old and and has had recurrent ear infections for months.  They have decided to go ahead and do tubes but he won't get them for another couple of weeks.  In the meantime... he doesn't sleep lately unless we hold him.  He has a cold with fluid in his ears but not an actual infection right now so no antibiotics. I don't know how to help relieve his pain so he can sleep (and we can too!!!!!) We have tried tylenol and ibuprofen and it works for a couple hours max.  Anyone have any other suggestions for how to help relieve the pain/pressure from the middle ear fluid? Thanks!
