Lots of them do it and numb the area. We went to another peditrician when she was 3 months. Very quick, they numbed the area and I cried more than she did. We waited until she was almost a year (fear of how bad she might react). It was super easy! I don't really think that the getting them pierced would bother me because I know the pain is short lived &amp; it's no worse than her getting a shot. I'm worried about them hurting/itching while healing &amp; her not understanding why it's bothering her. I asked the pediatrician about it at her 2 month appointment and they said it was fine and between 4-6 months was ideal as she will have had a couple rounds of shots but not be playing with her ears too much yet.</p> <p>Has anyone pierced their infant's ears? How old were they? Any issues? Anything you would do differently? </p>
