It's crazy how much wax comes out. She always has us drop baby oil into their ears until it fills, then wipe it away. She originally said to do it a couple times a week, but we rarely did it that often. Now we do it once a month maybe, when he settles down to nurse. He had a well check a few days ago and they looked pretty good. My LO has a lot of ear wax. The dr said it's not really a big deal, except that it could make it hard to tell if he has an ear infection. I'm obsessed with looking in his ears with an otoscope. If it looks really bad I make him go in to have them irrigated. The first time he did it probably had years of clogged up wax in there. Afterward he was like "whoa I can hear you clearly for the first time in a long time!"
