I could hardly wait that long. They were about $100 each. It was at Baby Envision and around $80 I think. My doc didn't offer the Panorama or Maternit21 (which is the test their office uses) because I was under 35. My first pregnancy ended in m/c due to a chromosomal abnormality, so we did the test for peace of mind. It was definitely fun to know so early, but we would not have paid for the early gender test separately had insurance not covered it &amp; it did not include some sort of genetic screening. </p> <p>Re: genetic testing, we will probably not do this again for future children ... it added a bunch of unnecessary stress when one of us was revealed as a carrier, then required us to do additional testing (which insurance did not totally cover) for peace of mind. I think it was $80. It took 20 minutes before the baby would uncross her legs and show us. She only uncrossed them for a moment, but the tech grabbed a photo and the 3 lines were obvious. We were almost to the point of having to reschedule.
