@Eko: Good luck! Glad you got some good news! My first beta was at 7dp5dt which would be 12dpo and it was only 18. I was very worried. Two days later I was at 52, and then 101, and yesterday I was at 204 so at least we are moving in the right direction with doubling. I hope you have a very H&H 9 months!

From my experience, they will just keep checking you to make sure the levels double up. If they do, you don't have to worry. I agree that the pregnancy tests are so sensitive that even the doctors are shocked when you tell them you are pregnant. When I went to the doctor for my first pregnancy, they were shocked that I was able to find out so early. :silly: Good luck and keep us updated! We will be here to support you either way!

I think pregnancy tests will pick lower hog then we think. I had an ectopic and took a test at 12 dpo and it was positive, two days later I had a beta and it was only 12 (that morning I got a positive on a digital). I'm not saying this to scare you, 12 dpo is early and I would think HCG would be low

@Eko: and especially if you are post 2 m/c's, your Dr should support several beta tests. I perhaps should be embarrassed to admit that I got 5 different draws done between my RE & my primary care Dr (alternating b/w offices) over 2 1/2 weeks time b/c I, too, am post-m/c & had some bleeding at 5w, so I was super nervous about this one sticking. Fx for you! :goodluck:

The doubling is what matters most.

Anything below 5 is considered a negative, so 15 still means you're pregnant.

Have you looked at betabase.info? The range for 12 DPO is large. I've read of people with positive FRERs getting betas as low as 7, so it's possible that's what yours was at 10DPO.

Fingers crossed for you!

ETA: I corrected the site I gave you...I said .org and it's .info!

At 14 dpo I had 41 hcg. With doubling that would be 20.5 at 12 dpo... Not far from your numbers. DD is tearing around the living room right now.

Don't stress too much until you have your second beta. All that matters is doubling.

Congrats!!

I think all you can really do is get repeat hcg levels 2-3 days apart. If they continue to double you are good. Levels vary incredibly & I've read success stories from women who had low #s like yours, so it's possible all is well! :goodluck: My favorite HB mantra is "today I am pregnant", so enjoy the :bfp: & try to be patient for your next blood test... Hard as I know that'll be! :goodluck:

I got an early :bfp: at 10DPO. This morning, only at 12DPO I went in and to get betas done. My doctor called me back and said that my HcG levels were only at 15 and that this was a low number. I did some reading and it seems that a positive pregnancy would have me at HcG levels around 25.

I am wondering if this level may seem ok given I am not even 4 weeks yet. I do have another workup on Monday to see that the number doubles, but I need something to ease my mind in the meantime.
