I would buy some breast pads for sure! I loved the Lansinoh ones (much nicer quality than the Johnson and Johnson ones). Lots of people even use washable pads.

My colostrum also came in pretty early- but I'd only leak at night. Unfortunately for me it didn't mean that my milk would come in any quicker, it actually came in late and I had tons of issues. Hopefully it will be better for you though!

Yep, my colostrum came in at 28weeks. I had to make sure I had a breas pad in, it was a bit of a pain, but now I've got an ample supply and LO is a BF champ!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to HB but not to pregnancy! I'm nearly 22 weeks with twin boys and yesterday in the shower I noticed that I'm actually lactating! It really freaked me out at first, but now I've calmed down. I have a few questions.

Does this generally get more bothersome as time goes on?
Should I buy breast pads for my bras now?
Most importantly, if you started lactating early, did this bode well for you with your ability to breastfeed after delivery? I'd love to breastfeed my twins but was worried that my body wouldn't know what to do... now I'm a little more optimistic about it!

Thanks! :)
