I would wake her at 630am, get a good feeding in, and bring a bottle of pumped milk on the ferry (or just nurse there) if she gets hungry again. Hopefully she will just sleep on the ferry with a 630am wake up and you can give her a good nursing when your ferry ride is over.

We had an early wakeup for a trip recently and I just nursed her when we woke up, but LO is a super fast eater and that only took about ten minutes. In your situation, I'd just take a pumped bottle in the car and feed it to her in the backseat. (I actually did sit in the back seat on the way to the airport with a bottle at the ready just in case she got upset about the upheaval in routine).

For me, I always went with the nurse and then do our routine so I didn't have to question where we were in our day (EASY routine) so that would have meant, waking her up early for the full nursing routine rather than deal with a screaming baby in the car.

We're heading on vacation this weekend. We have an 8am ferry reservation on Saturday morning so we have a hotel for Friday night. We have to be at the ferry at 7:30am and the hotel is about an hour and 15 minutes away. LO tends to wake up anywhere from 6:30 - 8:30am. This week has been on the later side but this hasn't been the norm up until now. She doesn't nurse in the middle of the night so her first feed in the morning is fairly thorough. I'm trying to figure out how to make the morning work logistically... Should I wake up early enough to feed her (maybe nurse, maybe use pumped bottle since it's quicker)? Should I try and transfer her to car without waking her? If so maybe I sit in the backseat with a bottle if she wakens? I can nurse her on the ferry but that won't be until 8am-ish. Not sure what's the best approach...
