My son likes to teeth several at a time. It's brutal. He got 8 teeth in less than 2 months and now its cutting 4 molars at one time. He usually drools like a crazy man, then chews on everything, including the furniture, then has nasty poops about 3 times a day, and a fever, and his sleep goes to hell. Right now we just got through the fever/crappy sleep part and the molars are poking through, so hoping the worst has passed.

Sounds to me like your LO is teething. Hope it pops through soon!

Zuma has been weird. Was born teething and it lasted til the tooth popped up at 2 months, the 2nd wasn't bad at all. The 3rd was really bad with another 2 months of crying and not sleeping and drooling and biting. The 4th I didn't even know she was teething, it just popped out. And the 5th and 6th have been the 2 month long teething spell.

Chloe teethers for-ev-er with all her teeth. Just before one would pop through, she'd spike a fever. The next day she'd get diarrhea and on Day 3 she'd get 1-2 teeth poke through. It was ways a 6 week process of drooling and fussiness, though, before the fever/diarrhea/tooth combo would happen.

Last Friday, Charlotte had a low-grade fever. On Saturday, she started having diarrhea. She's EBF and went at least 12 times on Saturday. By on monday it wasn't any better, so I took her to the ped. He suspected a virus & said it could last two weeks. She wasn't showing any signs of dehydration which was great!

On Christmas Day, she had a fever of 101 and was so horribly fussy. She even threw up a few times. Then last night we noticed a tooth. One of her canines is poking through!

Could this really be a virus, or would you wonder if it's teething? She's pooped once so far today and it's much more normal than it was before. She slept 10hrsast night and took a 4 hour nap. She got a tooth then went back to normal.

What were your kids like?
