After office hours, I did credit repair, credit disputes, and debt consolidation counseling. I would charge minimum $500 per file but had lots of follow up work to do once a case was opened. If it was just writing a single dispute letter and following up, I didn't charge that much. I have a mortgage and financial background so got referrals through friends and family. I can't commit to this anymore after DD but the supplemental income was very helpful. It helped pay for lots of expenses right after college. I recently helped a friend of a friend dispute an outrageous electricity bill for switching companies and she paid me $200. I'd just do a couple hours in the evening instead of watching tv. I'd just get an email once a week asking how many hours of statements I wanted to do, and then would go pick up the disks. I work anywhere from 25-40 hours a week, depending on the week with no childcare. Just DH and I split our time (he has a FT WAH job as well) on watching our little one. She'll be 6 months at the end of the month. </p> <p>I do a lot of early morning work to get work done and during naps. I'm not a night person. I take DD out during the late morning for play dates and have my meetings in the late afternoon since DH has no meetings during those times. </p> <p>We've had our business since 09 and have been doing this work since 05 but last year was the first time I worked for myself full time. </p> <p>As DH transitions out of his current role into joining me full time, I want to hire an employee and get my 200-HR YTT certification to begin teaching yoga. You take on only what you want, so you could do it after the kids go to sleep (which is when I do stuff). I make a couple hundred a month doing this, and don't do that much.
