I've been following her updates via Facebook and it is just so sad. Not only the loss of life, which is immeasurably tragic, but also the loss of many beautiful temples and cultural icons. I'd suggest looking for charities that are either three or four star rated. Charity Navigator is a good source for reputable charities. I actually have a cousin there right now, which adds another layer of worry. We spent a month in Nepal several years ago and absolutely loved it.
