@illumina: Yes, it's definitely still fun! Like @rahlyrah: said, there are a new set of challenges, but it is SO COOL to see them actually sit down and play with toys.

L has a "little people" pirate ship and he takes the characters and puts them on parts of the ship (standing upright, like they're supposed to be!) and he will take out and put in the little cannon ball. It's just so cute. He actually thinks about where to put them and makes sure they're standing up. I mean, I know that doesn't sound terribly exciting, but it is so incredible to watch him learn and think to do that!

Around 5 months. That's when she moved to her crib, was down to one night wake up and wasn't mobile yet.

@illumina: Still lots of fun but definitely more challenging. B has recently entered a super fun (sarcasm) "I can do it myself stage." The problem is, most of the time he needs a little helps and freaks the eff out if we try to help him. He also gets really frustrated if he fails at something or if we don't understand what he wants/is asking for. So, we have lots and lots of tantrums. However, 99% of the time we have a blast. He's walking, he actually explores and plays at the playground, he can play pretend and I love watching him use his imagination. It is a new set of challenges but I'm loving (almost) every minute of it!

He's only 5 months but I would call this our best month so far! We made it through the sleep regression and even though he doesn't sleep until 6:30am anymore, we're down to just one MOTN wake up and on a good routine. We're really hitting our stride.

For DS, closer to a year. He was a difficult baby. For DD, she has been a very easy baby in comparison, but 0-3 months all she did was sleep and eat and she rarely cried!

@NovBaby1112: @grizz: My LO just turned 9 months and I love watching her personality come out, she's a hilarious little thing. But she's stressing me out with her climbing, pulls herself up and tries to scale everything and just is such a wiggler when we're out and about.

So far 6 months is in the lead for the poll. Both of mine got big stranger danger around 6 months and even fussed for grandparents holding them. They backed off severe stranger danger after a month but by that point they were dangerous babies with mobility.

Easiest was around six months- she was sitting up and could entertain herself with her toys, but not crawling so I could put her down and know she would stay in roughly the same spot. That's also when she got on a more predictable two nap schedule. Really it was 6-9 months, until she started crawling which is so fun but a lot harder.

However I think she gets more fun and I enjoy her more and more with every stage, even if she isn't as easy.

I'm shocked at people who say any time less than four months was easy. That just was not easy in this house!
