@chopsuey119: We pretty much have everything we could need. I really think I might buy some books and bring the toys with. He's just starting to really like a few so I figured this would be a good way to introduce a few more.

My LO is almost 9 months old so we are putting in a new pair of shoes, a few board books since he's obsessed with reading lately, a small wooden toy, and a small wooden bead maze. They were some things I've been wanting to get him for awhile so I figured this was a good excuse to buy them!

I like the book idea! I think I might bring some of his small toys and throw them in there too. He won't know the difference.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I got lots of little toys, a few small books, a set of bunny ears (like a headband), and some plastic eggs and put little stickers in them. Just for show!

Well you can say the Easter Bunny didn't bring candy cause not like DS can eat it!

DD will be three weeks old and I have a basket for her. DH thinks I am crazy. I just put a book, rattle and another toy in it. Small but something!

I bought S a cute felt basket, and I am going to fill it with some small toys/teethers, socks, a couple onesies, and since he is a bit older, I am going to fill some of those plastic eggs with baby treats (puffs, melts etc)

I got all excited at Target today when I realized that I needed to get DS his first Easter basket. Then I started to wonder, what do you put in an Easter basket for a 4.5 month old??? The only thing I could think of was maybe some clothes and some pacifiers? This kid wants for nothing so he doesn't "need" anything. I would fill it with candy but DH and I are trying to be healthy (much to DH's chagrin). I wouldn't worry about this too much except that we'll be at my parents' house for Easter along with my brother and his family. I'm pretty sure my nieces still believe in Easter so I don't want to have to answer too many questions about what the Easter bunny did or did not bring DS.

Thoughts?
