Ok ladies this is what I found! It looks poofy but it's just the way she's laying.

Question about cold weather (40 probably...upstate ny) does she need tights and shoes? I found newborn shoes and they are gigantic on her. And so are the tights. She will be in her carseat outside (with a blanket, just wslking to/from the car) and held inside.

@Mrs. Lion: @lawbee11: Ok I just came on to peek at the cute dresses, but we brought dd home in one of those carters onesie dresses. Would definitely work for a seven week old! We actually had a similar type thing but not cotton/carters for dd's first easter at six months!

I would recommend the same as @lawbee11: LO is a little older but she wore that style of dress/cardigan for her school pictures a couple of weeks ago at 15 weeks. She will wear something a bit nicer for Easter (only because we have the hand me down from older sister), but no poofiness!

Looks like Old Navy has a bunch of cute dresses or rompers that are good for hot weather!

I am admittedly not super girly, but I think something like this with cute socks would be adorable and comfy: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=54054&vid=1&pid=144205002

This one is cute, too: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=54054&vid=1&pid=173140032

Also, we get dressed up for church, but babies and toddlers totally get a pass to wear comfortable clothes in my book!

@Mrs. Lion: I love the little Carters "dresses" that are actually more like onesies for when they're tiny. They seem really comfortable and come with a matching cardigan. This one is cute:

Help! I am new to girl clothes. We just decided, somewhat last minute, that we are going to visit family for Easter. I am fairly certain that we will be going to Mass with my grandparents. Our church is much less dressy, and our climate is much warmer than where we are going...so I don't really have anything for baby girl to wear.

I am assuming tights and a cardigan to go over whatever we get for warmth? How dressy does she need to be? Most of the dresses I am seeing are really poofy, which seems unsafe for the carseat and incredibly uncomfortable for a teeny baby? Or maybe not? I don't know!

Share your favorite tiny baby dresses :) I need ideas!
