Last night was one of them, but it wasn't for "fun"--we bought a new (to us) car and had to go pick it up after DH got off work. So I made LOs dinner and packed it in her thermos and she ate on the drive.</p> <p>In the summer when I'm off work, we sometimes go to our town's parks because they have different events--kids' bands, family movies, etc--and I will feed M there while we have fun. I just like being outside as much as possible. A lot of times we'll go to Whole Foods, because we walk there, then she plays, then gets healthy food, then plays and we walk back, plus there are parks on the way. It usually throws the kids off if we go out for dinner during the week too much though, so we try to limit it to once every week or two. But with these long summer days, we try to enjoy the longer evenings and do regular picnics!
