Um, well right now I'm devouring Taco Bell and a small Dr Pepper, so I have no advice! I don't really worry too much about it though.

I had an early diagnosis of GD at 6 weeks so I had to force myself to eat healthy! :(

It was easier with my first especially lunch Bc I worked downtown and options were galore. With this pregnancy I'm home and have more food aversions and mild nausea and have little energy to meal plan with chasing after my son. I eat bagel bites for lunch quite frequently.

I just ate what my body craved. It's hard to eat balanced meals when you're pregnant and nauseous. That got better around mid second trimester. I do have GD so I definitely watch what I eat. But if I'm not feeling well or just have a craving for something I go for it.

I ate healthier with the first pregnancy, but I was far more sick with this one. I'm only just coming into the second trimester, but hopefully I'll be able to eat better from here on out!

@Freckles: I just ate half a pint of icecream last night... The process of eating it made me feel soooo good, but then afterwards I felt pretty crappy. And I had to force myself to eat a banana today

@snowjewelz: I know, especially in the morning. I finally started bringing bagels to work so that i would stop buying fatty muffins. But at night i could happily eat a bag of chips before going to bed...every night.

Uh, this is my first and I am not doing that great with healthy eating either! The only things I want to eat that makes me feel better and not so nauseous are carbs! I have no appetite if DH presents me with healthy food lol.

I found that it was so much easier to eat healthily during pregnancy #1. I consider myself a pretty healthy person but it's been really hard for me to make healthy eating choices. The sight of greens makes me gag, and there isn't much that appeals to me. Last night, I had a 30 minute battle with myself so that i wouldn't eat instant ramen again as an evening snack. It's hard for me to even drink as much water as i normally do because the extra liquid makes me nauseous. It's not like i have morning sickness (just quasi nausea) but i'm so tired/stressed lately that it's easy to fall into the bad food trap.

Did anyone experience this problem with their second pregnancy? Any tips/advice?
