Usually kids eat free or for $1 during happy hour. There's a bar next door with tacos and tots. We have a pan Asian restaurant next door and they were reasonable before, but prices went up 50% this summer! Great deal!</p> <p>We usually go places where they have specials. For example, Moxies had $5 appetizers for all of September. So we would go out, order 3 appetizers to split between us (or 4 if K came), and were out the door for less than a single meal at Moxies would cost. </p> <p>We also use Wagjag/Groupon a lot for local reataurants. We get one meal to share and 2 waters. The 2 meat plate is huge and comes with 2 huge sides. The kids meal has a full size portion of meat, plus a side, hush puppies and a drink. We end up spending $12.50 and sometimes have leftovers. Oh and Dickey's has free ice cream. :) </p>
