DS just got faster around that time and all the sudden he went from 30 min feedings to 10 minute feedings. It scared me at first but by that point I tried to trust that he would get enough if he wanted it. He wasn't ready for a longer schedule because he couldn't handle being awake longer.

Are his longer feedings consistent, like in the evening or morning? Is it effecting his naps?
One thing you could do to check is pump a bottle and see how much he is eating. I'd do that before spacing feedings out more. I've heard 4 hours by 4 months a lot but my lo wasn't ready for that till closer to 6 months.

My little guy is 12 weeks old and has been on a 3 hour schedule for 6 weeks now. He is breastfed only. Sometimes he will only eat for 6-8 minutes and then he refuses any more. Usually he eats 20-30 minutes. Does this mean I should be spreading out his feelings more, to like 3 1/2 hours or 4 hours? Or is it normal for a baby to not be as hungry for some feeding throughout the day?
