I was so nervous about him not taking a bottle and luckily he doesn't seem to care where his milk comes from. With DD2 I have no plans for bottles because there really isn't a need for it (I SAH and she can go 4 hours so plenty of time to get away if needed). She went through bottle refusal, then nursing strike, and now we finally seem to be in a good place. </p> <p>I remember the FIRST time I took DD out to someone's house.. Obviously we're still trying to get the hang of nursing in public, wrangling w/ cover, position, etc... We were there for a while so I did this twice. As we were leaving, a MAN (he is a dad, but still!!!) asked me why I don't just pump b/c it's so much easier. I was quick to point out that the milk that went into that bottle still had to come from me and feeding her directly was a lot easier than prepping a bottle, cleaning that bottle, and pumping to make the milk for that bottle. </p> <p>This is from the same few people who throw around "why don't you just get a babysitter?"
