I usually plan it so that I feed him before I leave the house. Worse case, I have had my husband give him formula. I would just nurse him as soon as I get home so I don't ge too engorged.

If you feed before you leave you should be fine. DS is 6 weeks old and I went to the dentist last week and was fine; I nursed him before I left and he slept through the appointment then nursed shortly after we got home (about 3hr later).

I would just give her a top up right before you leave. I've done this a few times now (had a wisdom tooth taken out yesterday) and my son has been fine and he's 10 weeks yesterday

I would just feed before you left. I EBF but didn't pump so I never had a freezer supply. I just always feed her before and rushed home.

How old is she? We didn't give my LO a bottle for a few weeks around two months and we've struggled getting her to take one again.

If she takes it, I think you'd be fine to go to your appointment and leave him with formula though.

I EBF my LO and I just haven't figured out how to work pumping into my schedule. I have to go to the dentist soon—my supply should be fine if I have my husband give her formula while I'm gone, right?

He used to give her a bottle of formula at night during the first couple of months (until she turned out to be sensitive to milk and I switched her to just breast milk), so I think she'll take the bottle...
