@hilsy85: I haven't tried milk in a sippy/straw yet, but she is able to get quite a bit of water out of her sippy so that might be a good idea to try! she just tips the straw cup and bends the straw so the water floods her high chair tray when I let her use that cup. too smart for me!

When I was on maternity leave and wanted to make up a bottle for him, I'd pump while he was napping, or after he went to bed.

Also have you tried doing milk in a sippy or straw cup?

I pump before I go to bed...he goes to sleep around 630 (last time I nurse him) so I pump around 10/1030...I only get like 2-3.5 oz, but I combine bottles after a day or two.

I exclusively BF my LO...well, and solids. but no bottles.

I want her to take milk from a bottle. She will take juice (or water with a splash of juice) from a bottle, but hasn't taken milk since 6 weeks old (she throws a fit!!). I'd like to start trying more and more to hopefully allow us to get a date night in!

My issue is, when do I pump? After she eats - when I'm empty? before she eats, then give her the bottle if she's hungry? ahh!

ETA - LO is 7.5 months.
