Yes I've heard of it. It's a really low concentration! Kind of the same idea as pool water.

I haven't personally but my sis and coworker have for their kids. I think it does work but as you said, it's more for extreme cases, so this is on top of all of the other things they did/do to treat the eczema. Ultimately though, I think my coworker ended up using a rx steroid cream bc her son would have bad eczema outbreaks on his face/head and it eventually got infected.

Yesterday we had my daughter's nine month check up which was perfect timing due to a recent bad eczema flair up. It was so bad last night she itched until she drew blood. I've been doing the steroid cream, lotion, special wash, everything and the poor thing still itches.

Luckily they were having a class with a local pediatriac dermatologist when iw as there adn she stopped in to take a look and she recommended a bleach bath once a week. Now, I looked at her like she was crazy, putting my baby in bleach water? But she said it is proven to work in extreme cases. I looked it up on Mayo Clinic's website and she was right.

Has anyone used this method, what were your thoughts, did it work? i'm desperate so i will probably try it.
