@sorrycharlie: i just did Lansinoh, but APNO might work quicker.

@Adira: she has more sensitive skin than Olivia does, and responds well on the rest of her body to our usual regimen but I cannot keep up with her thumb! it's so frustrating.

@oliviaoblivia: hmm. like Newman's APNO? I have a tube of that but it supposedly expired last year - from her newborn days, LOL. maybe I could try some anyway..

I have no advice - I have this issue with both my kids. We have some prescription ointments for their eczema in general, but it doesn't seem to work long-term. It seems to get better whenever I'm really vigilant and put vaseline or aquaphor on them throughout the day, every day, but it's hard to keep it up during the week when they are at daycare. :(

I used nipple cream when L chapped her thumb. It took care of it pretty well.

my one year old is a thumb sucker - all day every day! but with how dry the air has been, her teething, and being wet all the time, she's developed some painful looking eczema on her thumb. I've tried putting cream on it but she just sucks it off..ugh.

Any options here aside from just letting it heal on its own?
