They can make them mummies, zombies, ghosts, witches, whatever with different colored icing. I'd probably buy little candy eyes and make up a big batch of icing and divide it into a few colors: lots of white, some red, green, orange, maybe black. Then put it into sandwich baggies so that they can squeeze and decorate or use popsicle sticks to spread it around. With 10 year olds, I think the key is to do something they can be as creative (or not) as they want.
