You could get pregnant if you don't have BC, so definitely do go for it if y'all aren't both fully on board with it- should it happen. My husband and I plan on starting TTC this spring (not sure how soon I get to stop birth control.) But it seems there was a slight snafu in my recent birth control scheduling. I'm on Nuvaring, and I get it in the mail. I'm on my last dose, called to get my next batch... They'll send it out on Dec. 5th, and it'll take 5-10 days to arrive. I'm due to have my next dose on the 5th, and my husband and I are leaving for our honeymoon on the 11th. My hospital's pharmacy does NOT carry Nuvaring, so it had to be via mail. </p> <p>There's a slight chance they'll actually mail the new batch in time, and I'm anxious over nothing. But what happens if the new BC batch doesn't arrive in time? We're going on our honeymoon, so we aren't going to abstain based on cervical mucus, and condoms are... not something we've mastered (I'm his first and only, and I've been on birth control basically the whole time. And using them for the first time on our honeymoon? Phooey.) And the pull out method frustrates him.</p> <p>I feel so guilty that I'm excited about the prospect of NTNT for a few weeks. And so anxious about how it'll affect our honeymoon. We both have baby fever, but he's trying to switch jobs at the moment. </p>
