@Ajsmommy: I use the term hidden super loosely here. DS is only 2 and half so our elf is in plain sight.

@ValentineMommy: lol same!! I feel like I just can't be creative during the week. On the weekend, we'll have the elf in a man made swing from the ceiling but during the week you'll be more likely to find our elf sitting in the tree or on the table with a candy cane.

We do it! The girls love him. We just move him from shelf to counter, to somewhere else. Nothing fancy.

We do it, though admittedly, we basically just stick him places. DS doesn't really know any better and is happy enough just finding him all over the place. I always mean to do more with him, but it takes all my effort to remember to just move him! Lol!

We just started this year with DD and so far he hasn't really been "hidden". She's only 3 so I am trying to work our way up to her actively looking for him. So far he's just been hanging from our ceiling fan and staged on our island in different scenarios.

Anyone else do Elf on the Shelf for their kiddies? We started last year and DS thinks its so funny when he finds our elf doing silly thinks. BUT it's so hard to have creative hiding places everyday. Usually on the weekends, we rock it! During the week, we often just find places to stick him.

Any fun hiding spots or tips?
