@Mrs. Bee: Thanks! My daughter's eczema has only gotten worse...and we have moved from the southwest to the east coast, so I feel like it's not really environmental, and she tested negative for allergies, so I'm really at my wit's end. I hate using cortisone cream too, so I will definitely try this!

I used it for my own eczema.

If you're looking for a natural solution, my friend's son with truly bad eczema used this lavender balm: http://www.hoskingspharmacy.com/baby-infant-face-rashes.htm#ORDERNOW

and it was the only thing that worked.

I've used it for everything -- eczema, chapped lips, diaper rash.... it is amazing!

PS my daughter's eczema has gotten better and better. I think she's just grown out of it. So I can't really say how well it worked.

We used it for a couple weeks maybe? Our pediatrician and dermatologist recommended it over cortisone because they both felt cortisone had some risks.

Has anyone been prescribed or used Elidel cream to treat eczema? We moved and so had to take our daughter to see a new dermatologist, and when he prescribed this cream, he mentioned casually, "Oh, just ignore the warnings about increased risk of lymphoma." From what I've read it seems there haven't been longitudinal studies done to really assess the risk of the cream, but suffice it to say, I'm not really comfortable using it on my DD, but I don't know if I'm overreacting. Have you had any experience with it, good or bad?
