I just called 3 of the VIPs for a verbal emotional gush of appreciation. Haven't decided if I will also send a written note. Probably. </p> <p>I'm delegating a few thank-yous to my husband so he can decide and finishing up the rest of my list tonight (ideally) and this weekend (likely). Prompt ones are more fun for me to write because gratitude is flowing through my veins like an adrenaline jolt and also I can add special touches and sparkling conversation fodder. Email is great b/c then I'm not self-conscious about my lousy handwriting and can fix my errors. So there you have it...the times gotta catch up with me. And yes, there MIGHT ( a big maybe) be some people less likely to give gifts in the future but I'm really OK with that.</p> <p>@googly-eyes: Yes, I was thinking that b/c it was so big (family and all in the 808 state and beyond) that is a good excuse to email, because of the size. </p> <p>Can't wait til LO is old enough to write (or email) her own.
